Asphalt Crack Seal

Hot Pour Crack Seal

Hot Poured Crack seal is used to repair long linear cracks in your asphalt. Its a rubber liquid that is heated to 400 degrees or slightly above. We start by cleaning the cracks. Then we apply the crack filler deep inside the crack where it hardens, sealing out moisture from penetrating the asphalt.  Although it does harden it remains flexible allowing it to expand and contract with the outside climate changes. This prevents it from causing further crack development and promotes a long lasting repair.

Gator Crack Seal

Gator Crack is also known as fatigue cracking. The cracking pattern resembles the scales on an alligator or crocodile. This type of cracking is one of the most serious and more common ways asphalt can deteriorate over time. In a lot of cases the underlying surface is the culprit. Some of the causes of this could be loss of base due to poor drainage or cold weather with repeated freezes, increased loading, inadequate structural design, and/or inadequate compaction of asphalt. That's why its extremely important to have a proper consultation by someone who has experience in asphalt paving. Gator Seal would be the first barrier against this type of cracking. By preventing the water, dirt, and sand from entering the cracks and reaching the base, we can slow the progression of the cracks. As long as pieces of asphalt are not falling out - then this type of treatment could last you approximately a year.
