Asphalt Overlay

 

If there isn't failure at the base of the current asphalt, then an overlay is an option rather than completely replacing your parking lot. Overlay's can be up to 70% cheaper in some cases. We recommend 2" of compacted asphalt. Thinner applications can deteriorate quicker especially when heavier vehicles like trash trucks, or larger delivery trucks are expected.

 

Overlay Process:

• Level the driveway or parking lot

• Apply emulsion Tack coat (SS1H) with a minimum of 4" mills thick.

• Lay new asphalt
